The exclusions
Situations and cases the promise does not apply to.
The part
What it is
Written plainly rather than buried. An exclusion that only appears in terms and conditions is an exclusion that will be experienced as a broken promise.
The list should be short. A promise with many exclusions has usually been written too wide and then defended by qualification.

The attributes it carries
Each attribute is one of the framework’s shared types. What a date is, and how it is written, is defined once for the whole model — the note here says what it means in this particular place.
Reason
Why it is excluded, which is what makes the exclusion acceptable rather than evasive.
Reason shared typeStated where
Whether the exclusion appears alongside the promise or only in the terms.
