What it is
The mission should be readable as one way of pursuing the purpose. Where it cannot be, either the mission has drifted or the purpose was never operative.
This link is what keeps the three statements from becoming three unrelated documents.

Each attribute is one of the framework’s shared types. What a date is, and how it is written, is defined once for the whole model — the note here says what it means in this particular place.
