What it is
The forecast being compared has to be the one made at the time, which means keeping superseded versions rather than overwriting.
Comparison at several horizons is more informative than one: forecasts made three months out and twelve months out have different accuracy profiles.

Each attribute is one of the framework’s shared types. What a date is, and how it is written, is defined once for the whole model — the note here says what it means in this particular place.
