The standards
What each horizon is judged on.
The part
What it is
The near horizon is judged on return, the middle on validated learning, the far on whether the option is still live and still cheap.
Writing them down is what prevents a quarterly review from silently applying the first standard to all three.
The smallest level
The attributes it carries
Each attribute is one of the framework’s shared types. What a date is, and how it is written, is defined once for the whole model — the note here says what it means in this particular place.
The other elements in measures per horizon
Failure tolerance
How much failure is expected and accepted at each distance.
