What it is
Gaps are stated as a pair: what the purpose implies, and what actually happens. One without the other is a complaint rather than a finding.
Keeping them narrow is what makes them actionable. A gap described at the level of culture cannot be closed by anyone in particular.

Each attribute is one of the framework’s shared types. What a date is, and how it is written, is defined once for the whole model — the note here says what it means in this particular place.
