The change

What was changed, and what problem it addressed.

The part

What it is

One change at a time is the discipline that makes attribution possible. Several simultaneous changes produce an outcome nobody can allocate.

The problem it addressed should come from the map, the defect record or the people doing the work rather than from an improvement programme’s quota.

The smallest level

The attributes it carries

Each attribute is one of the framework’s shared types. What a date is, and how it is written, is defined once for the whole model — the note here says what it means in this particular place.
