What it is
Workarounds are the most useful thing on the map. They mark exactly where the process is wrong, identified by the people who have already solved it.
Recording them requires treating them as data rather than as non-compliance, which changes what people are willing to say.
The smallest level
The attributes it carries
Each attribute is one of the framework’s shared types. What a date is, and how it is written, is defined once for the whole model — the note here says what it means in this particular place.
Prevalence
Whether it is universal or occasional — universal means the process is simply wrong.
