The range within which movement is not news.
The part
What it is
Derived from the historical spread of the measure during a period when nothing notable happened.
Where no such period exists, the band is wider than anyone would like and that is itself worth knowing.
The smallest level
The attributes it carries
Each attribute is one of the framework’s shared types. What a date is, and how it is written, is defined once for the whole model — the note here says what it means in this particular place.
