What it is

Territory and expiry are the two fields that lose rights. Both are known in advance and both depend on someone acting.

Registration numbers belong here because they are needed at exactly the moment nobody can find them.

Each attribute is one of the framework’s shared types. What a date is, and how it is written, is defined once for the whole model — the note here says what it means in this particular place.
