What it is
The revision should be traceable to the improvement, so that someone reading the standard later can find out why it says what it says.
Superseded versions should be kept, because a standard that changed three times tells you something the current version cannot.

Each attribute is one of the framework’s shared types. What a date is, and how it is written, is defined once for the whole model — the note here says what it means in this particular place.
