The indicator
The single measure that decides whether the goal was met.
The part
What it is
The test is whether it would settle an argument. If two reasonable people could still disagree after seeing it, it is not decisive.
External measures are stronger than internal ones, because they are harder to influence directly.
The smallest level
The attributes it carries
Each attribute is one of the framework’s shared types. What a date is, and how it is written, is defined once for the whole model — the note here says what it means in this particular place.
The other elements in the primary measure
The threshold
What the number has to reach.
LearnThe gaming risk
How the measure could be moved without the goal being achieved.
