Find a model by the problem
Most models are met years after the problem they answer. Each one in the library is described by the situation it was written for, so it is possible to go the other way: say what is going wrong, and see which models were made for something like it.
Some sentences of the kind it is written for:
How the order is decided: your words are reduced to a rough stem, and a model counts a match when the stem appears in its name or other names (worth 3), the area it belongs to (worth 2) or the description of when to use it (worth 2). A word that appears in only a few models counts for more than one that appears in many, and common words are ignored. Each result shows the words it matched on. It is plain word overlap, done in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere, and a model that uses different words for the same thing will be missed. The full library is ordered by where each model belongs.

The Omnigoal is not affiliated with their authors and is not endorsed by them; nothing of theirs is reproduced here — no canvas, no diagram, no wording. Each is described in our own words, with the originator credited, because the framework is a place to put thinking, not a replacement for the people who did it. Model names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to refer to the work itself.
