What it is
Effective dates matter because customers hold historical prices for years. A single current list cannot explain the invoices being sent.
Currency needs stating explicitly where the organisation sells across markets; exchange drift becomes a pricing decision nobody made.
The smallest level
The attributes it carries
Each attribute is one of the framework’s shared types. What a date is, and how it is written, is defined once for the whole model — the note here says what it means in this particular place.
Price
The list value, with its currency, which is what everything else is measured against.
