The notice

How long members have before the change takes effect — because anything short is experienced as confiscation whatever the terms say.

The deliverable

What it is

Members hold something they earned. Reducing its value at short notice is experienced as taking it, and the terms permitting it do not change the reaction.

Notice long enough to redeem is the minimum, and for programmes with long earning cycles that means months.
