The correction

How a customer can fix a wrong inference — because a visible and correctable inference is tolerated and an invisible wrong one is not.

The deliverable

What it is

A customer who can see and correct what the organisation believes about them experiences the personalisation as a service. One who cannot experiences it as being wrongly categorised with no recourse.

The correction has to be honoured everywhere, or the customer corrects it and sees the old assumption reappear, which is worse than not offering the correction.
