Users invent workarounds when the intended path does not fit. Each workaround is a solved design problem waiting to be read.

They are frequently treated as misuse, which loses the information entirely. The user is not doing it wrong; the design does not fit what they need.

One level in

Each element is a constituent part of the component. Follow one to see the attributes it carries.

Adopting a widespread workaround is often the best answer, because users have already validated it.

What was seen when real people used it — the cheapest research available and the one most often skipped.

Where the data says people struggle — useful for finding where, useless for finding why.
