The agreed test for completion, written before the work starts.
The deliverable
What it is
A definition written at the end will be shaped by what was achieved. Writing it at the start is the entire mechanism, and it takes ten minutes.
It also makes handover possible. Work whose completion only its author can judge cannot be reviewed or transferred.
