The exclusions

What the vision makes it wrong to pursue, named specifically — because a vision compatible with everything settles nothing.

The deliverable

What it is

The exclusions are what give a vision force. They are also what nobody wants to write, because each one is an argument with somebody who has a proposal.

A useful exclusion names something the organisation could plausibly do and has decided not to. Ruling out what was never possible costs nothing and proves nothing.
