Selection criteria
The written test each candidate has to pass: early, unambiguous, attributable, and serving the goal.
The deliverable
What it is
Without written criteria, quick wins get chosen for how easy they are, which is the failure mode the whole idea is meant to guard against.
The fourth test is the one usually missing. A win that does not serve the goal is a distraction with good optics.

A criterion that never disqualifies anything is not a criterion. Check the results column for tests nothing ever failed.
