Evergreen, seasonal or topical, per format — and what each is worth spending, which should differ and usually does not.

What it is
The classification is only worth making if it changes the budget. Where evergreen and topical work cost the same to produce, the classification is a label rather than a decision.
Lifespan is observable rather than assumed. What is still being used six months on says what a piece actually was, and it is frequently not what it was commissioned as.
