What it is
The cost of reuse is set before production. Capturing the extra photograph, the longer recording or the raw quotes costs minutes at the time and hours to arrange afterwards.
Reuse is not republication. A piece cut into five is five pieces; the same piece posted in three places is one piece in three places, and only the first adds anything.
