The incentive check

What the revenue model makes the organisation itself do — which is at least as consequential as what it makes customers do.

The deliverable

What it is

Revenue models shape internal behaviour quietly and completely. Charging for implementation hours makes efficient implementation a revenue loss, and no amount of stated values changes that arithmetic.

The check is uncomfortable because the finding is usually that a well-established stream is working against a stated priority.
