Leader assessment
How each leader is judged against the written expectations, on evidence gathered from more than one direction.
The deliverable
What it is
Leader assessment closes the loop on the expectations. If leaders are judged on results alone, the expectations document will be read as decoration, whatever it says.
The assessment draws on several sources because each one is partial. Results show what was delivered; upward feedback and the team’s retention and engagement show what it cost to deliver it.

Judge each expectation separately. An overall rating hides the one weakness a development plan most needs to know about.
