Target register
Each sustainability commitment in exact wording, with its scope, recorded baseline, horizon and the person accountable for it.
The deliverable
What it is
The target register is the list the organisation can be held to. Each entry is a commitment on a material topic, stated precisely enough that someone outside could later say whether it was met.
It is the counterpart to the materiality assessment: every material topic should either have a target here or a recorded reason for having none. A topic with neither has slipped between the two.
