What it is
Pilots are protected environments. They receive attention, forgiving customers and costs nobody charges back, and their results reflect all three.
The readiness check asks what remains when those protections are removed. It is the last gate before handover, and its question differs from the earlier ones: not whether the idea works, but whether it will keep working in ordinary hands.
